Day 2 - Home Option Gallery. We did it!
Wednesday, December 09, 2015After knowing what Day 1 was like, we felt like we were ready for day 2!
Day 2 involved the following:
- Electrical appointment at the Home Option Gallery;
- Staircase appointment at the Home Option Gallery; and
- Tiling and carpet appointment at DiLorenzo
The day was scheduled to start at 9.30am and finish at 3.30pm, so it was shorter than Day 1.
The night before, we had a copy of our plans and started to draw out our electrical plan so that we would be ready for the morning. Let me tell you, that those 2 hours of planning was well worth it!
We made sure that we drew out where we wanted downlights, powerpoints and switches. I also budgeted $7k for the appointment. I was hoping that we would be under but unfortunately not. More to come in the separate electrical appointment post!
